Mickey Thompson‘s stable of short course off-road racers is revved up and ready to hit the dirt for the 2019 Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) season. The company is set to again sponsor top drivers in several LOORRS classes, showcasing the performance of its off-road tires in the nation’s foremost dirt racing series. New this season, the Pro 2 class will be required to race off-the-shelf tires rather than project tires.
“We are extremely excited to be back sponsoring some of the best racers in LOORRS,” said Ken Warner, vice president of marketing for Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels. “These dirt short course competitions offer edge-of-your-seat excitement, with the country’s best drivers battling wheel to wheel, and 2019 promises to be the finest season yet. Due to new tire requirements for the Pro 2 class, we believe our off-road tires will become the new standard for champion LOORRS Pro 2 competitors.”
