TCI Celebrates 50th Anniversary

Total Cost Involved Engineering (TCI) celebrates the company’s 50th anniversary. In honor of the milestone, TCI is offering a special promotion – Free Freight for 50th.

Now through the end of September, TCI will cover 100% of the freight expense for front and rear suspensions and will provide a 50% discount for freight for the purchase of any new chassis, according to a press release announcing the anniversary.

TCI was founded in 1974 by Ed Moss, the current owner and president of the family-based business. From humble beginnings in a garage with three employees and as the company’s head engineer, Moss built the business with the promise of satisfying every customer.

The company’s first product was a Model A chassis that improved the car’s safety and drivability. Spurred by that success, TCI branched into additional products for street rods before launching a suspension and chassis product line for classic trucks and muscle cars; earning a SEMA award for excellence in manufacturing.

Today, TCI operates from a 32,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility in Ontario, California, ships globally and employs over 50 dedicated employees.

“I’m so proud of what we’ve built over the last five decades. We set the bar high at every stage of product development – design, engineering, manufacturing, delivery, customer service and tech support. We’re one of the few companies with employees that build and race vehicles on the weekends under extreme performance conditions to test our products. Mostly, we’re all very grateful for being able to do what we love and share our passion with our customers,” said Moss.

TCI is a family of engineers, machinists and technical sales advisors that have first-hand knowledge of every component and chassis we build. We are working with top builders coast-to-coast to ensure that our products will perform at or above our customers’ expectations,” said Sal Solorzano, TCI vice president and head of operations. “It’s our attention to detail and customer service that has made repeat business and referrals the foundation of our success.”
