King of the Hammers, known as the toughest series of one-day off-road races in the world, has announced the return of SYLVANIA Off-Road as the official lighting partner of the 2025 King of the Hammers Powered by OPTIMA Batteries.

The renewed partnership brings trusted lighting technology to racers participating in the various KOH competitions and the spectators cheering them on. The annual event is set for Jan. 23-Feb. 8 in Johnson Valley, California.

SYLVANIA is raising the bar when it comes to innovation and capability,” said Mike Jams, chief executive officer of Hammerking Productions. “We aim to partner with technology leaders and are proud to welcome them back. Their lighting technology is second to none, and KOH is the ultimate proving ground to showcase that to racers and enthusiasts alike.”

Having operated for more than 100 years, SYLVANIA has been a trusted choice in automotive lighting, the companies noted in a press release announcing the partnership. Its line of off-road LED lights features advanced optical engineering, water resistance and durable designs.

SYLVANIA LED light bars and pods are offered in three different lines—the Ultra Series featuring the highest lumen output for ultimate off-road visibility, the Rugged Series featuring durable construction, and the Slim Series featuring a sleek and compact design for easy installation almost anywhere.

“The King of the Hammers has become the epicenter of off-road racing culture every year and we’re looking forward to another successful year on the lakebed,” said Erin O’Malley, director of marketing for OSRAM SYLVANIA. “This renewed partnership will help us connect with the off-road community and reach new enthusiasts who are pushing their vehicles to the limit both during the day and late at night.”
