Survey: Half of U.S. Drivers Connect to Internet in the Car

Half of the respondents of a recent survey report owning a car that connects to the internet, either direct or via a phone. Metova, a provider of mobile, connected car, connected home and IoT solutions, conducted the survey meant to reveal the sentiment of consumers regarding the connected car.

Metova also revealed that two-thirds of drivers surveyed would switch to a different entertainment service if that service is readily available in their new vehicle.

Other key findings include:
