Stellantis has announced plans to lay off an undisclosed number of employees in the U.S., according to a recent MarketWatch Report.
The automotive manufacturing giant reportedly employs 281,000 people worldwide. According to Stellantis, the layoffs are due to, “a highly competitive and challenging U.S. automotive industry.”
This announcement comes on the heels of Stellantis laying off 199 employees at its Sterling Heights Facility in Sterling Heights, Michigan.
