SEMA Scholarship, Loan Forgiveness Applications Due March 1

The deadline to apply for the SEMA Loan Forgiveness Program is quickly approaching.

According to the organization, the deadline to apply for up to $5,000 to help pay off an outstanding student loan is March 1.

Available exclusively to employees of SEMA member companies, those who possess a degree or certification from a college, university or trade school in the United States are eligible for the program.

“Our mission is to provide the automotive aftermarket with outstanding professional development and training resources,” said Zane Clark, SEMA Director of Education. “Students from all academic and technical disciplines that lead to careers in the automotive industry are welcome to apply.”

In addition to the Loan Forgiveness Program, SEMA Education offers scholarships to current students, assists with employment opportunities through the Career Center and supports ongoing advancement through year-round seminars and workshops.
