SEMA Cares Pinewood Drag Races to Continue at Home

While the SEMA Cares Pinewood Drag Races will not take place in person this year, SEMA members are still invited to build a Pinewood Car at home to benefit the organization, the group announced. Each donation kit includes a pre-shaped pinewood car or truck body, wheels, axles, and weights. One hundred percent of the proceeds will directly benefit SEMA Cares.

The event, which features sponsored miniature wooden cars and trucks, gives members an opportunity to give back to the charities that best reflect the values and interests of the automotive specialty equipment industry.

“As a non-profit charity, we are always looking for opportunities to incorporate the joy of automotive into fun activities and fundraising,” said Lindsay Bianco, manager, membership projects. “By donating through SEMA Cares, our members can help make a larger and more significant impact of giving as part of the collective automotive industry voice and still know that their contributions are going to a great cause.”

The cars can be customized with paint, stickers and other design elements.
