SEMA’s Young Executives Network (YEN) is collecting applications for its SEMA Launch Pad program.
The program offers innovators, inventors, and entrepreneurs between the ages of 18-39 a platform at the SEMA Show to pitch their business to a panel of industry judges at a live event. Ten finalists will ultimately compete for the chance to take their product to the next level through brand exposure, access to business resources, and face time with key industry influencers.
Applications for SEMA Launch Pad are due June 4. On June 7, 15 semi-finalists will be selected to move to the next stage of the competition. Semi-finalists must film a three-minute pitch video at the 2018 SEMA Exhibitor Summit in Las Vegas, set for June 25-27. After the July 30 to Sept. 6 voting period, the 10 finalists will be notified on Sept. 7.
The SEMA Launch Pad live event will be held Oct. 29 during the SEMA Show in Las Vegas. The SEMA Launch Pad Roundtable is set for Oct. 31 at the show.
Applicants do not need to be a SEMA member or a YEN member, but must be under the age of 40 at the time of the closing of the 2018 SEMA Show on Nov. 2.
