Audio equipment and accessories producer Scosche Industries is celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2020.
Family owned and operated since 1980, Roger and Scotia Alves started Scosche Industries in their Ventura County garage. The company is still headquartered in Ventura County, California, but has grown to over 200 employees and has achieved many significant milestones and successes over those four decades.
In 1980, as automotive audio consultants, Roger and Scotia Alves published the Autosound Encyclopedia. In 1984, the couple earned their first patent for their General Motors multi-purpose dash kit. The company later introduced its EFX line in 1990.
Following an expansion into the consumer technology accessories market, Scoshe launched its Realm line of car audio speakers, amplifiers and subwoofers in 2007.
