SCORE International next year will hold four races in Ensenada, Mexico, a sea-side port on the Pacific side of Mexico’s Baja California peninsula. It will be just the fifth time in the desert racing series’ to have four races in Baja California, Mexico.
The Newest
The SCORE Baja 400 in Ensenada, the newest event on the SCORE World Desert Championship schedule, is set for Sept. 16-20, 2020. It will be the second year for the event and second time that it has been held in Ensenada.
The SCORE Baja 400 has been positioned again in 2020 between the SCORE Baja 500 and the season-ending iconic SCORE Baja 1000.
All three Ensenada races on the 2019 schedule will start and finish in front of the iconic Riviera del Pacifico Cultural Center on Mexico Highway No. 1.
The Traditional
The 52nd SCORE Baja 500 will be held June 3-7, 2020 and the season-ending 53rd SCORE Baja 1000, the Granddaddy of all Desert Races, will be held Nov. 16-21, 2020.
The 2020 SCORE Baja 500 will start in Ensenada for the 47th time and finish in Ensenada as well for the 43rd time.
The 2020 SCORE Baja 1000 will start in Ensenada for the 45th time and finish in La Paz, Baja California Sur for the 22nd time.
The Opener
The 2020 SCORE World Desert Championship season-opener for the eighth straight season will be the 34th SCORE San Felipe 250, to be held March 25-29, 2020, on the Sea of Cortez side of Mexico’s Baja California peninsula. It will start in San Felipe for the 33rd time and finish in San Felipe for the 33rd time.
