SBX Cars Auctions Lamborghini LM002 Wagon

SBX Cars is auctioning a rare wagon-variant of the Lamborghini LM002, originally owned by the Sultan of Brunei. The rare model was created by Salvatore Diemante, who was head of Bizzarini’s factory throughout the 1960s.

In total just three examples of the LM002 Wagon were ever produced, with this one being the only one officially sanctioned by Lamborghini and verified as being built by Diemante.

This example lived with the sultan for only a few years before heading back to Europe and becoming a family hauler for a woman driving kids to school in Sweden, according to a press release.

The LM002 features a 5.2L V12 engine, which would’ve been the same engine in the Lamborghini Countash of the time. At the time of the auction the car shows just over 10,000km on the odometer. Auction begins on Aug. 7.
