Mitch Williams Joins RIGID Industries

RIGID Industries has appointed Mitch Williams as its new president, the company announced.

“Mitch Williams is a seasoned leader with a proven track record in the industry,” said Doug Wolma, president of safety solutions for Clarience Technologies, the parent company of RIGID Industries. “RIGID continues to grow and today enjoys its position as the preferred choice of customers, and we expect our position to strengthen even further under Mitch’s leadership.”

Williams joins RIGID Industries with experience from a nearly 40-year career, previously holding leadership positions at component manufacturers that serve the automotive aftermarket and the automotive lighting segment. Williams spent the first nineteen years of his career at Hella, Inc., ascending to the role of president and CEO of its North American business, the company said. In the years since, Williams has served as the top executive at several other automotive suppliers, including Pilot Automotive, Corinthian Textiles, Dinan Engineering, Restoration Parts Unlimited, and StopTech Performance Brake Systems.

“RIGID Industries is a leader in lighting technology and a long-time supporter of the off-road market, and I am excited to lead the business into its next chapter,” said Williams. “I am fortunate to join a company with a reputation for uncompromising quality and technology innovation. Our customers should rest assured knowing that maintaining this reputation will be my top priority.”

Williams also served as the chairman of the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) board of directors and was named SEMA Person of the Year in 2001.
