RideTech has hired Chuck Whitney as production manager. Whitney now oversees all manufacturing and order fulfillment operations at RideTech’s Jasper, Indiana factory.
Whitney brings a wealth of aerospace and racing experience to RideTech, previously producing AS9100 parts for Boeing, Airbus, Honeywell, Raytheon, and a host of other major manufacturers.
“Working at RideTech is not very different than working for a shop that makes parts for rockets,” Whitney said. “Everyone at RideTech shares the same mission. We make the best performing, most reliable suspension parts in the aftermarket. RideTech does a great job manufacturing products and getting them out the door in a timely manner. I look forward to fine-tuning various processes with an eye towards growth and innovation.”
Whitney’s extensive racing career includes serving as crew chief and operations manager roles on numerous Dirt Modified and Sprint Car race teams. Whitney manages his son, Reed Whitney, who competes in national and regional USAC Quarter Midget tours. Reed Whitney is a two-time regional champion and a consistent top-five finisher on the national level.
“We make serious parts here at RideTech. Performance, reliability and durability are critical facets of our design and manufacturing programs,” said Bret Voelkel, RideTech president and CEO. “We are thrilled to have a new production manager with combined aerospace and racing experience. Chuck Whitney is a proven winner, on and off the racetrack.”
