Rebelle Rally Partners with Pennzoil

The Rebelle Rally, an off-road navigation rally for women, has entered into a new partnership with Pennzoil, event officials announced.

As part of the relationship, Pennzoil will support the rally, its collaborative mechanics program, and the training arm of Rebelle known as Rebelle U.

The Rebelle Rally Mechanics program is a pool of mechanics who work on competition vehicles as needed for the entire eight days of competition. Pennzoil will support the staff and provide its products to the team, the company said.

In addition to rally support, Pennzoil will be the presenting partner of Rebelle U, the company said. Rebelle U is the training arm of the Rebelle with courses in driving, navigating, and supporting education. The program conducts both in-person and online training classes.

“We’re extremely excited to have Pennzoil join the Rebelle ecosystem in such a broad-reaching way,” said Rally founder, Emily Miller. “The people are Pennzoil are doers with an exceptional leadership and management team who see the value in the Rebelle as an event to test their products in every manner of terrain and extreme temperatures. We share core values including the commitment to quality and sustainability.”

“Pennzoil is proud to join Rebelle in their mission to invest in women in automotive, support education for young girls and care for the environment through conservation programs. We really love this intersection of inclusivity and sustainability in motorsports as it aligns with our values at Shell and Pennzoil,” said Bree Sandlin, vice president, Shell Lubricants North America marketing.  “It’s an honor to work with Emily and learn about her inspiring vision to help female racers unlock their full potential through courage and determination. We look forward to collaborating with the world-class team to support this life-changing competition that paves the way for women in motorsports.”
