Ann Arbor-based RealTruck announced the official opening date of its first-ever flagship retail store located in Rochester Hills, Michigan, on Thursday, Oct. 30, 2025. The store is a first-of-its-kind in the aftermarket industry that will allow enthusiasts and inspire newcomers to gather in an interactive environment when buying aftermarket truck accessories, company officials stated in a press release.
The flagship store will provide a one-stop shop with white-glove installation services, featuring product displays that showcase RealTruck’s category assortment. The displays will include full-size trucks and SUVs outfitted with products representing different pastimes, hobbies and pursuits.
“We’re elevating the truck experience by bringing the RealTruck brand to life with a store experience that will fuel Michiganders’ incredible passion for trucks,” said Tony Ambroza, chief growth officer at RealTruck. “As part of our commitment to the broader truck-loving community, our first flagship store will offer an inviting atmosphere that showcases our industry-leading products, perfect for exploring our home state of Michigan. We hope it becomes a regular destination for enthusiasts and a first-of-its-kind inspiration for newcomers who’ve never considered aftermarket products for their vehicles.”

Customers will also be inspired by personalized displays that will allow them to build their vehicle in a retail environment.
Installation Services and Expert Support On-Site: Customers can schedule appointments for easy installation by the pros on-site and speak with product specialists who will be able to offer clear advice and guidance on products and installation services.
Celebrating New Products and Curating Personalized Experiences: Customers will get priority access to new product launches and innovation updates, along with an assortment of products that will appeal to both first-time and repeat purchasers.
Testing and Building Marketplace: The store will serve as a showcase for RealTruck’s southeast Michigan dealers to imagine new ways of engaging consumers at the retail level and bringing products to life.
RealTruck Partnered With Washtenaw Community College
To support the store’s opening, RealTruck partnered with Washtenaw Community College (WCC) during its six-week course titled “Custom Cars & Concepts.” During the course, students had the opportunity to build vehicles for the store by accessorizing and lifting RealTruck’s showroom display vehicles. The course also enabled RealTruck to capture content to promote the partnership and the builds that will be on display within the retail space, officials stated.
The Grand Opening Celebration of RealTruck’s Flagship Store
Pro Football Hall of Fame and Pride of the Lions inductee, Calvin Johnson Jr., will support the celebration of RealTruck’s flagship store through a grand opening activation on Nov. 13, 2025. Johnson will also get the opportunity to help build a Ford F-150 that will be showcased and displayed at the flagship store.
In 2027, the vehicle will be auctioned off with 100% of the proceeds going to the Calvin Johnson Jr. Foundation, a non-profit organization founded by Johnson in 2008 to empower at-risk youth in Metro-Atlanta and Metro-Detroit through mentorship, leadership and scholarships to assist them in pursuing college and career dreams.
The company is also giving away a RealTruck Upfitted 2020 Jeep Gladiator JT valued at $54,800 as part of the grand opening sweepstakes. Eligible participants can enter here for a chance to win.
