Ford v Ferrari, a Hollywood blockbuster, starring Matt Damon and Christian Bale, depicting the real-life events leading up to Ford’s legendary victory at the 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans, premiered last weekend at theatres across the country.
While the film is based on reality, there are a few things that the movie didn’t get quite right, says Hagerty’s Preston Lerner. Luckily, he knows how things actually went down, and does us all the favor of separating fact from fiction.
