Racing returned to North Carolina’s North Wilkesboro Speedway for the first time since 2011 this week with a full schedule of on-track action.
The famed short track—which last hosted the NASCAR Cup Series in 1996—is currently undergoing renovations thanks to an $18 million investment and will be continuing to host modified and late model events through the end of the year.
