Mickey Thompson‘s SEMA booth this year is set to feature new Mickey Thompson and Dick Cepek products, as well as project vehicles and celebrities. Mickey Thompson has invited dealers, media, and customers to stop by the booth (No. 43035) in South Hall to get a first look at the company’s new Baja Boss tire, slated for release early next year.
According to Mickey Thompson, the Baja Boss features aggressive styling and is an Extreme Mud tire built to handle extreme terrain. A new video showcasing the Baja Boss’ off-road performance and reliability will be playing at the company’s booth, and there will also be two project vehicles equipped with the new Baja Boss tires at the show: Code Red, a 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited Rubicon; and Baja Boss, an aggressively-styled Ford F-250 Super Crew.
Mickey Thompson also plans to showcase its newest, experimental, extreme off-road-only tire, the Baja Pro X. The company said in a statement that the Baja Pro X tires feature several new innovations and are built to handle conditions such as rock bouncing, rock crawling and mud bogging.
Dick Cepek’s new product at the booth will be its Trail Country EXP tire. According to the company, “The Trail Country EXP is a true hybrid tire, offering the comfortable ride of an all-terrain and the off-road capabilities and dependability of a mud terrain tire.”
Several new sizes and fitments for existing Mickey Thompson and Dick Cepek tires were also released this year, and dealers/customers will be able to learn more about the expanded options and applications, including new high-flotation tires in lower load ranges, at SEMA as well.
Celebrity appearances at the Mickey Thompson booth are set to include Team M/T athletes during a special appearance and autograph signing from 12:30 p.m.-1:30 p.m. on Oct. 30. LOORRS drivers and father-daughter duo Brian and Hailie Deegan will be joined by Fitz Army FMX Freestyle Moto X riders Jimmy Fitzpatrick and Destin Cantrell.
Mickey Thompson also stated that visitors to the booth will find an M/T Interactive Garage kiosk-a 42-inch screen that lets users select a wide array of aftermarket upgrades for a stock 4×4, including: factory color, exterior, interior, performance parts and accessories, bumpers, running boards, lift kits and Mickey Thompson off-road tires and wheels.
