Racecar Engineering (RCE) will again host its Vendor College event for all local, regional and visiting racers and race teams during the Daytona Speedweeks, the company announced. The event will take place at Racecar Engineering’s facility in Lakeland, Florida, on Feb. 13 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Racecar Engineering hosts the annual event to allow drivers, teams and dealers to interact one-on-one with the factory personnel from nearly 80 product manufacturers, the company said, who will also display new racing parts and distribute product literature.
“If you’ve ever been fortunate enough to attend the PRI Show, many racers and teams know that it can be hard to ‘get up-close and personal’ with their favorite brands and the factory reps they may have spoken to on the phone over the years. And when you’re at the track, let’s face it, it’s tough to connect with the factory reps with 100% focus between set-up, practice and qualifying,” said Racecar Engineering’s Steve Dorer. “So, we’re again giving these racers and their teams the opportunity to meet our vendors ‘face-to-face’ to discuss technical questions or perhaps solve problems. And who knows, they may just find or learn something new that may help give them that winning edge they’ve been looking for to help them during the 2022 racing season and beyond.”
The first 100 people at the event will receive goodie bags, the company said, while food and refreshments will be available for a small charitable donation. Events also include a charity raffle with prizes from participating manufacturers and activities for kids.
Manufacturers scheduled to be on-site during the Racecar Engineering Vendor College 2022 are: Allstar Performance, Alcon Brakes, Bassett Wheel, Bert Transmission, Bilstein, Brinn Transmission, Brembo, Cometic Gasket, Comp Cams, Daytona Sensors, Design Engineering, Driven Racing Oil, DRP Performance, Edelbrock, FAST Electronics, Five Star, Fragola, HANS, Hawk Brakes, Holley, Hyperco, Intercomp, KRC Power Steering, Maxima Racing Oil, MSD, PEM Racing, Performance Friction, Powermaster, Pro System, QA1, QuickCar Racing, Racing Electronics, RaceQuip, Simpson, Strange Oval, Stilo, Swift Springs, Velocita, Wilwood, XS Power Battery and more. The event exhibitor list will be updated on the Racecar Engineering website and social media channels.
The Racecar Engineering Vendor College event is free and all proceeds from raffles tickets and food donations will benefit the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Shriners International.
