Kass has been a QA1 team member since 2009, beginning his career with the technical support team. He has since worked a variety of sales positions, most recently as the customer service manager. He also has worked closely with the marketing department, attending numerous trade shows and media events.
“(Kass) has held an active role in a variety of marketing projects since he started his career here and we are excited for him to lead this team,” said Melissa Scoles, QA1 president. “The knowledge he has of our products, coupled with his relationships with our customers and our media and industry friends, will all assist in his success in this role. His experience and leadership will be invaluable as we work to drive forward our future marketing plans.”
Kass most recently championed the conception of QA1’s #goDRIVEit campaign, which encourages enthusiasts to get out to enjoy their vehicles.
Kass in the new role will be responsible for planning and executing day-to-day marketing activities, driving corporate and product marketing strategies, and monitoring market trends, according to QA1.
“We have a strong marketing team, and with the right focus, I think we can capitalize on the strength of the QA1 brand as we continue to innovate and grow,” Kass said. “Applying what I’ve learned through thousands of interactions with QA1 users will be a great tool when developing various marketing strategies.”
Kass is a past recipient of SEMA’s 35 Under 35 award. He’s also a car enthusiast himself as a proud owner of a 1972 C10.
