Petersen Museum Continues Porsche Anniversary Celebration With Video Series

Following the Porsche Rennsport Reunion 7, the Petersen Automotive Museum has launched a new Porsche-focused video series featuring key figures behind Porsche’s success in America, the museum announced.

The series, sponsored by Mobil 1, focuses on the personal stories of Porsche enthusiasts, and will introduce a new episode every two weeks on the museum’s website, YouTube channel and social media.

Upcoming episodes will feature interviews with Porsche enthusiasts about their personal relationships with the brand, the museum said, including:

Recently debuted episodes featured Chris Banning, a street racer who earned his nickname of “King of the Mountain” by becoming the fastest racer on Mulholland Drive, and Bruce Meyer, chairman of the Petersen Automotive Museum and car collector.

“Sharing the stories behind automotive enthusiasts who have shaped the industry, and the Porsche brand is key to preserving the history,” said Petersen Executive Director Terry L. Karges. “This series will tell the important stories of those who were influenced by the Porsche marque.”
