Petersen Museum Appoints New CFO

The Petersen Automotive Museum has hired Sandra Landicho as its new CFO, effective Aug. 23, after announcing the retirement of outgoing CFO Eitan Ginsburg, the museum announced.

Landicho brings more than 30 years of experience in all aspects of business operations including finance, accounting, human resources, risk management, grant writing, software selection and implementation and staff leadership, the museum said.

“Sandra Landicho will bring a wealth of knowledge and passion to the position of Petersen Automotive Museum CFO,” said Petersen Automotive Museum Executive Director Terry L. Karges. “She prides herself on the relationships she has built with staff members at every level, volunteers, vendors, donors, Board members and guests. We believe she will be an active and vital team player on the museum’s Executive Management Team, helping us grow into the future.”

From 2007 to 2020, Landicho served as CFO for the AAM-accredited San Diego Air & Space Museum (SDASM) where she was responsible for all financial functions, human resources, payroll and insurance in addition to oversight of the museum’s Guest Experience Department and Education Department. She was involved in virtually all aspects of finance and operations from contract negotiations, financial statement presentations and even exhibit development, the company said. In addition to her time with the SDASM, she has held CFO positions with several nonprofit organizations including two social service agencies.
