Old World Industries has announced an alliance with Unity Envirotech of Illinois LLC.
Unity Envirotech manufactures ammonium sulfate (AMS) products in the heart of the corn belt in Henry, Illinois. Old World Industries makes PEAK and BlueDEF branded products.
The alliance combines Unity Envirotech’s reputation for producing the highest quality granular and spray-grade ammonium sulfate fertilizers with Old World Industries rich distribution network and commitment to excellence, according to Old World Industries.
In recent years, Unity Envirotech has invested in long-term projects including facility upgrades and strategic property acquisitions where a wide range of AMS sized product can be produced, from 90 to 300 SGN.
“When stepping into any new alliance, reliability and a commitment to the highest standard is extremely important to Old World Industries,” said Charles Culverhouse, CEO of Old World Industries. “Unity Envirotech is a great representation of those qualities and more. We look forward to continuing to provide our customers with the highest quality products available.”
The alliance will be led by fertilizer industry veteran Scott Vanderventer, who oversees sales and business development for Old World Specialty Products, a division of Old World Industries.
“Old World Industries has demonstrated from the start that they not only value our premium products, but also the economies of our strategic location in the corn belt,” said Kobus van der Zel, Unity COO. “We are looking forward to benefiting from Old World’s deep marketing knowledge, relationships and insights.”
