NTSB Chair Raises EV Safety Concerns

U.S. National Transportation Safety Board Chair Jennifer Homendy raised concerns about the increased risk of severe injury and death from heavier electric vehicles on U.S. roads, according to a Reuters report.

Citing the heavier weight of electric vehicles, including the GMC Hummer EV and the Ford F-150 Lightning EV, Homendy expressed concern for the increased safety risks for all road users, the report said.
