A new report from Motor1 states that Nissan has announced the end of production for the GT-R for the North American market in 2024 and the Japanese market in 2025.
While the current GT-R has been in production since 2009, the model has seen diminishing sales numbers, with special editions helping to keep the excitement alive.
The announcement comes as Nissan has also stopped spending on developing ICE designs. While this is not likely the end of the GT-R nameplate, many don’t expect an electric replacement to hit the market until at least 2030, according to the report.
