Nick Griot replaces Richard Griot, who started the company at Monterrey Car Week in 1989. Richard Griot will maintain a reduced role, attending shows, appearing in videos and more, the company said.
After six years in commercial real estate, Nick Griot returned to work for Griot’s Garage, and has worked in various positions in his eight years with the company, Griot’s Garage said, and obtained his Class A CDL to establish the company’s national events program.
“There won’t be a lot of difference from the outside,” the company said in a statement announcing the appointment. “It’s always been about family, customers, and the best products that deserve the Griot’s name on them. We are excited to see Nick take Griot’s to the next chapter of success.”
