NFIB Offers Guide to Lowering Taxes, Avoiding Audits

A new guide from the National Federation of Independent Businesses (NFIB) aims to help small businesses simplify tax season, lower their taxes and avoid an audit, the organization announced.

Developed by the NFIB Small Business Legal Center, the Guide to Taxes: How to Lower Your Taxes and Avoid Audits covers the following subjects:

  • Understand the Individual Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT) and whether it applies to you
  • Learn common deductions used by small businesses
  • Avoid an audit
