Mutoh America Expands Partnership with Johnson Plastics Plus

Phoenix-based wide-format printer and cutter manufacturer Mutoh America has expanded its partnership with Minneapolis-based Johnson Plastics Plus (JPPlus).

JPPlus, distributor of rotary and laser engraving materials and supplies, recently expanded its product line to include Mutoh’s UV-LED printers, ink, and supplies.

“This natural expansion into UV-LED print technologies for signage and personalization industries makes perfect business sense for us,” said Steve Gluskin, JPPlus director of digital printing product development.

Mutoh UV-LED printers are designed to give sign shops an easier way to enter into the growing world of UV-LED printing, according to the company.

“We are excited to have Johnson Plastics Plus on board promoting our UV printers,” said Brian Phipps, president and GM of Mutoh America. “JPPlus has been a valued reseller for Mutoh America, and we are looking forward to strengthening our partnership.”
