Mule Expedition Outfitters, a vehicle-dependent travel outfitter, has announced a new partnership with MITs Alloy, an Australian manufacturer of aluminum flatbed trays and canopies for mid and full-size trucks.
The MITs Alloy system is a fully modular system that allows you to build an adventure or fleet vehicle to your specifications and needs. The system starts with a flatbed tray that is constructed of CNC cut and folded 5052 Marine Grade Aluminum. Each flatbed tray is 100% welded to ensure rust and rattle-free life. Each flatbed tray comes standard with a headboard, CNC cut window protector, and stylish LED tail light package.
“With most midsize trucks equipped with smaller beds, we have found a demand for those who need a pickup, but a full-size truck isn’t practical. With a MITs Alloy Tray, your useable cargo space increases and transforms your midsize truck into a practical work and adventure vehicle,” said Steven Bisig, Mule marketing.
MITS Alloy Canopy systems are modular and configurable depending on your needs with endless possibilities. Each canopy features mounting points for several cargo solutions such as roller drawers, fridge mounts and tables, all of which are bolt-in, allowing the addition and removal for each specialized adventure or work site.
“One of the coolest and practical features of the MITs Alloy system is the accessory mount points. This feature allows the addition and removal of accessories with just a simple socket set, allowing tradesmen to easily configure their truck from a work truck to a camping vehicle in a manner of minutes,” said Bisig.
MITs Alloy Flatbed Trays and Canopies will be available through Mule Expedition Outfitters, OK4WD, Asheville Vehicle Outfitters and Boulder Vehicle Outfitters in the first quarter of 2021.
