The AAM Group has added Motor State Distributing as its 20th member company. Motor State, which will be participating in the truck segment of the group as a Total Truck Centers program warehouse, is driven by its high-volume domestic and international sales team. Leveraging more than five decades of industry engagement, Motor State distributes more than 90,000 part numbers from its state-of-the-art, 416,000-square-foot complex located in Watervliet, Michigan, according to the company.
“Motor State Distributing is excited to be the newest member of The AAM Group’s Total Truck Centers marketing program,” said John Sheskey, Motor State director of purchasing. “Combining our collective resources within the truck parts and accessories market made sense and will provide great benefits for both organizations.”
“AAM is pleased to welcome Motor State Distributing,” said AAM President Tim Odom. “The Lane family and their staff have built a remarkable and well-respected business. We look forward to partnering with them as they continue their growth.”
The AAM Group now counts 20 member-companies operating 48 distribution centers throughout North America.
Headquartered in Piney Flats, Tenn., The AAM Group manages product purchasing and marketing for manufacturers affiliated with three flagship retail marketing programs: Parts Pro (PartsPro.com), Performance Corner (PerformanceCorner.com), and Total Truck Centers (TotalTruckCenters.com).
