Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder has a new bill awaiting signature on his desk. If he signs House Bill 5100-passed this week by the state’s legislative body-Michigan would loosen its towing laws to allow more aftermarket access to residents, according to SEMA Action Network (SAN).
H.B. 5100 allows for the attachment of a tow ball, bicycle rack, removable hitch, or any other device designed to carry an object on the rear of a vehicle without violation of the statute that the rear license plate shall not be obstructed, according to SAN.
There’s not yet any word on whether Gov. Snyder plans to sign or veto the bill.
