Meyer Distributing Opens New York Cross-Dock

Meyer Distributing has opened a new location in Albany, New York, the parts distributor announced. The cross-dock will have a direct, next-day feed from Meyer’s East Hanover, New Jersey distribution hub.

“We have seen unprecedented interest in our crash and collision offerings,” said Jim Sherman, sales manager of the division for Meyer Distributing. “We continue to invest heavily in inventory and infrastructure to give customers an alternative in the market.”

“We have spent the last couple years focused on building out the Western United States,” said Jeff Braun, CEO of Meyer Distribution. “Now, we’re turning back to some core Eastern markets to see where we can improve service and delivery times. Customers from Albany to Schenectady to Johnstown to Sarasota Springs will be serviced from the new dock.”
