Meyer Distributing announced the addition of Dynatrac heavy-duty, high-performance aftermarket axle assemblies to its 4×4/off-road sector.
Dynatrac axles are built specifically to solve the structural failure points of factory and competitor axles—such as bent axle tubes, broken ring-and-pinion gears and failing ball joints—when vehicles are modified with larger tires or subjected to severe off-road, military or commercial use, Meyer Distributing officials said in a press release.
“Dynatrac is proud to partner with Meyer Distributing,” said Neal Hollingsworth, vice president of marketing at Dynatrac. “Our company has built its name on engineering the strongest axles, ball joints and hub conversions in the off-road market, and Meyer’s distribution network gives dealers and installers faster, easier access to those products. It’s a natural fit on both sides.”
In 2002, Dynatrac introduced the ProRock 60, the first high-clearance off-road axle of its kind. After the launch of the Jeep Wrangler JK, Dynatrac developed the ProRock 44 as a solution for the front axle that was prone to bending and breaking as people modified the vehicle, the release noted.
The ProRock 80 followed in 2013 for 4x4s, military vehicles and commercial mining equipment. Other products include several Free-Spin hub conversion kits, heavy-duty DynaLoc locking hubs and rebuildable Heavy-Duty Dynatrac Ball Joints among other components in suspension, steering and brakes, company officials said.
“Dynatrac has been one of the most recognizable names in heavy-duty axles in the 4×4/off-road community for longer than I can remember,” claims Jamin Hochgesang, 4×4/off-road category sales manager at Meyer. “We look forward to partnering with such an iconic axle company in the 4×4/off-road market as it adds to our vast lineup of superior brands in the industry.”
Every Dynatrac axle goes through 117 different inspections during the assembly, ensuring unparalleled quality. Dynatrac says that engineering continues its commitment to excellence from behind the drawing board, pushing quality and innovation to new levels.
