Fleet solutions company Merchants Fleet has appointed Blair Hendrix to its board of directors.
With over 24 years of leadership in private equity, value creation and operational strategy, Hendrix’s addition reinforces Merchants’ commitment to strategic growth, the company stated in a press release announcing the appointment.
“Blair’s extensive background in strategic value creation aligns perfectly with our vision for the future,” said Kirk Hoffman, Interim co-CEO of Merchants Fleet. “We look forward to partnering with him to ensure best-in-class solutions for our clients.”
Hendrix recently retired from his role as a partner and leader of Bain Capital’s North America Private Equity Portfolio Group. During his time at Bain Capital, he served on over a dozen corporate boards across a variety of industries including technology, healthcare and industrials, the release stated.
Prior to joining Bain Capital, his roles included executive vice president and chief operating officer at DigiTrace Care Services Inc. (now SleepMed), along with key leadership positions spanning multiple industries at Corporate Decisions Inc. (now Oliver Wyman Consulting).
“I am excited to be joining the talented team at Merchants Fleet,” said Hendrix. “I look forward to contributing to the innovative work being done and helping to enhance the value we bring to our clients through advanced fleet solutions.”
Merchants Fleet has offered comprehensive fleet management solutions for more than 60 years.
