Racing simulation company, Racing Unleashed, and McLaren Racing have unveiled the McLaren Racing Motion Simulator. Developed in close collaboration, this state-of-the-art simulator represents a breakthrough in racing simulation technology, combining precision engineering, immersive realism and cutting-edge innovation, according to company officials in a press release.
Designed for an Immersive Racing Experience
Produced at Racing Unleashed’s manufacturing facility in Maranello, Italy, the McLaren Racing Motion Simulator has a carbon fiber chassis, McLaren Racing-inspired liveries, and a cockpit designed for an immersive racing experience. Built to replicate the intensity and precision of professional motorsport, it is intended for both training and entertainment purposes, noted the release. The simulator will also be a permanent feature in the McLaren Shadow Studio at the McLaren Technology Centre (MTC).

- Exclusive McLaren Liveries– Available in a selection of three iconic McLaren Racing liveries, each designed to reflect the brand’s motorsport heritage and commitment to excellence.
- MCL38 Steering Wheel Replica– A high-performance steering wheel that is a visually identical replica of the 2024 McLaren Formula 1 car steering wheel, offering realism and responsiveness.
- Three Degrees of Freedom Motion System (3DOF)– Simulates pitch, yaw and roll to replicate braking forces, cornering dynamics and acceleration.
- Active Seatbelts– Useful for immersion and to ensure identical ergonomics for drivers. These seatbelts actively pull, increasing realism by enhancing the feel of braking, turning and gear-shifting.
