Küat Racks will unveil its DEK platform roof rack at SEMA 2024. Designed for those who seek a blend of style, utility, and performance, the DEK offers a rooftop cargo experience with a modular, low-profile design that transforms any vehicle into a rugged adventure companion.
Lit variations were developed in partnership with Diode Dynamics, a trusted name in advanced LED lighting. “It was a pleasure working with Küat, a fellow Missouri company, to design DEK from the start with lighting in mind. The result is a fully integrated system that provides a solution for every adventure, day or night,” said Paul McCain, CEO of Diode Dynamics.
The DEK platform roof rack is built to take explorations to new levels—whether hauling camping gear, bikes, kayaks, or overland equipment. Engineered for maximum adaptability, the DEK platform features T-channels and accessories that allow users to customize the rack to their unique outdoor needs.

- The DEK’s low-profile shape reduces wind resistance and noise for a comfortable (and stylish) ride on any terrain.
- With integrated T-channels and a range of customizable accessories, the DEK is ready for whatever gear a trip demands, from kayaks to bikes to camping essentials.
- All direct-mounted DEK models are optionally equipped with five Diode Dynamics C2 Pro LED Pods encased in a custom-fabricated housing, delivering over 10,000 raw lumens with OEM-style integrated appearance.

- The universal models mount to existing crossbars. There are a variety of dimensions to accommodate a range of vehicles. An accessory light bar featuring Diode Dynamics lighting can be purchased to modify any universal-mounted DEK into a fully lit version.
