K1 Speed announces Knoxville, Tennessee, will welcome a new karting center, set to open in the summer. The 105,000-square-foot location will house two tracks, cutting-edge electric go-karts, an arcade, a Paddock Lounge café and event spaces.
“Come summer, we’ll have three locations in the state, with Knoxville being the biggest of them all,” said Susan Danglard, K1 co-founder and director of marketing.
The Knoxville location will feature Superleggero go-karts, capable of reaching speeds of up to 45 mph. Kids can also experience the thrills of racing in the company’s Junior Karts.
The two indoor tracks will cater to drivers of all skill levels.
K1 Speed currently operates 86 locations in 29 states and seven countries. The brand offers an international franchise and is currently accepting applications.
