Jessi Combs Dies in Race Car Accident

Popular racer, television personality and aftermarket spokeswoman Jessi Combs died Aug. 27 while attempting to set a land speed racing record in Oregon, according to multiple reports. She was 36.

Well-known in the specialty automotive aftermaket, she made numerous appearances at the SEMA Show and related events, and was a talented fabricator and mechanic.
