Irish Formula Drift Driver James Deane won his fourth Formula Drift Championship on Oct. 19 at Irwindale Speedway, according to a new report from Autoweek.
Deane is the only driver in Formula Drift history to win three consecutive championships, which he won from 2017-19. During COVID-19 restrictions, Deane competed in Europe through 2022. Last year, Deane returned to Formula D in an RTR Mustang.
