The sanctioning body was advised by the Bureau of Land Management that there was some doubt as to whether or not the group could proceed with the event.
“Based on this information, and in an abundance of caution for the health and safety of our racing community, the decision was made to postpone the event to a future date,” read a statement from the organization. “Details are being worked out, and an announcement will be made shortly regarding a new date for the event.”
