ICON 4×4 Revives 1949 Hudson as Part of Derelict Series

ICON 4×4 revived a barn-find Hudson and reimagined the vehicle as a high-tech Nashville daily driver. Its time-earned body patina hides modern mechanicals and a bit of rockabilly attitude, made even more boisterous by a 638-horsepower LS9, four-wheel independent suspension and custom hand-dyed alligator upholstery. See it in the Optima Batteries booth #20323 at the SEMA Show.

Project contributors include Optima (battery), Art Morrison (chassis), Speartech (wiring harness), ARE (dry sump system), Setrab (heat exchangers), Griffin (radiator), Concept One (compressor), Vintage Air (A/C), Huntington Beach Transmissions (4L85E transmission), Brembo (brakes), Wilwood (master cylinder), Hydratech (hydroboost), Moore & Giles (interior components), Relicate Leather (interior components), Focal (audio), BFGoodrich (tires).
