A new report from Road & Track states that Hyundai has confirmed its N vision 74 concept will go into production. The production was confirmed during the brand’s 2024 CEO Investor Day. The news comes as the brand has confirmed it will offer at least 21 electric models by 2030.

The N Vision 74 struck a chord with enthusiasts when it was announced in 2022, officials report. The concept was intended to harken back to the Guigaro-designed Hyundai Pony, which was first introduced in 1974, helping give the concept its name.

The concept was initially introduced with a hydrogen powertrain in mind, but Road & Track speculates the model will likely feature an EV powertrain and a 62 kWh battery pack.

Production is likely to be limited. Hyundai recently canceled its plans for a mid-engine sportscar and the N Vision 74 will likely fill the gap. Production is expected to be limited with as few as 200 examples built for the public.
