According to a new report from Autoblog, Dutch coach builder Heritage Customs is now offering a new truck variant of the new Land Rover Defender models. The truck, based on the Defender 130 X Dynamic SE trim level, is built to customer specs to meet the needs of European truck enthusiasts.
Considering the extensive crash laws and regulations in both the U.S. and Europe, the team does minimal changes to the drivetrain and mechanicals, but creates a useable bed with roll bar and offers the brand’s catalog of light bars and light pods to make each pickup unique.
Currently the new trucks are priced around $166,000 overseas. Builds slots can be obtained for $15,000 with production for the trucks expected to take around three months.
The brand also offers a soft-top convertible variant of the Defender 90.
