The team at Gunther Werks, a high-performance automotive design company, has announced its new brand, GW9, and recently unveiled its new Porsche 992.1 Turbo S Aero Package. In partnership with Vorsteiner, known for its carbon fiber aero solutions and craftsmanship, the package is designed to boost downforce and airflow while maintaining factory-grade fitment and finish, stated company officials in a press release.
The eight-piece complete Aero Package blends aggressive performance enhancements with refined styling and includes:
- Aero Rear Wing: Engineered to maximize stability at high speeds, improving aerodynamic efficiency, while adding a bold aesthetic.
- Aero Rear Diffuser: Purpose-built to enhance aerodynamic balance and reduce rear-end lift.

- Aero Side Intake Trim: Increases overall airflow into the factory intake system.
- Aero Front Intake Trim: Adds a sharper, more aggressive look to the front.

- Aero Front Spoiler with Side Fins: Features a sleek integrated center section with side fins that enhance aerodynamics and high-speed stability.
Designed With Aerospace-Grade Carbon Fiber & for Modern Porsche Fitments
Gunther Werks says that each component is crafted using aerospace-grade, pre-impregnated carbon fiber formed through autoclave technology, which delivers a 20%-30 % increase in stiffness and strength compared to traditional carbon fiber. The 992.1 Turbo Aero series of components integrates through OEM mounting points and complements the signature contours of the 992.1 Turbo S, enhancing both high-speed stability and aerodynamic efficiency. GW9 parts are sold as a package and individually.
