DirtHammer & Gray Leadbetter Auction 2024 Can-Am Maverick X3 for Charity

DirtHammer is partnering with racer Gray Leadbetter for a premier charity auction benefiting the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation (NPCF). Leadbetter is auctioning her personal, race-spec 2024 Can-Am Maverick X3 built by Can-Am Factory Racing Dakar Rally driver Kyle Chaney. Designed to compete in the Championship Off Road Pro Spec Class, Chaney built Leadbetter’s X3 to the same specifications as his own 2023 championship-winning Can-Am.

About the 2024 Can-Am Maverick X3 Build

Chaney knows what it takes to put a Can-Am on a podium, with multiple King of the Hammers championships under his belt, auction officials stated in a press release. Leadbetter’s X3 wears a custom chassis, suspension by CT Raceworx and Double E Racing, Hayes brakes, Vision beadlock wheels, and a Sparco full containment seat and five-point harness. It also packs a VP Racing UTV96 Fuel tune, among other custom touches. Leadbetter campaigned this car to a top 10 finish in 2024. About Gray Leadbetter

Leadbetter is a professional racer who has competed in everything from motocross to rallycross, midgets and sprint cars. She regularly appears on Travis Pastrana’s YouTube channel, Channel 199, and in 2022, she became the first woman to win the Championship Off Road Pro Class Championship. That same year, she joined the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation as an ambassador, donating 10% of her annual sponsorship dollars to the charity.

Not only is it a fully race-ready Can-Am, they gave me the opportunity to partner with NPCF—I’ve been involved with them for close to five years now, and there’s truly nothing like it. I’m really proud to be a part of it and be able to use this auction as a way to help donate to the cause,” Leadbetter said.

The National Pediatric Cancer Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to funding and developing novel research and clinical trials to find less toxic, more effective treatments for childhood cancer. Since 2005, NCPF and The Sunshine Project have contributed more than $50 million to clinical trials and transitional studies.

Auction Details & Charity Breakdown

This charity auction begins on April 6, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. EST and will close on April 20, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. EST. Leadbetter will donate 10% of the auction proceeds to NCPF. DirtHammer is joining in by contributing the 9% buyer commission from this auction to NCPF as well.
