The 4th Annual Freedom Car Show is taking place on Oct. 3, 2026, at a new location—Magic Island Park in Charleston, West Virginia. The event brings together vehicles that have been designed and adapted to meet the diverse needs of individuals with disabilities, from modified controls and specialized seating to state-of-the-art assistive technologies. These vehicles showcase the creativity of engineers, designers and innovators who have committed to improving accessibility and mobility, making driving accessible to all.
Every dollar raised from the Freedom Car Show goes directly to the Community Living Services Program (CLSP), managed by WV Independence Network (WIN). Through CLSP, individuals with disabilities across West Virginia receive critical support services including assistive devices, home modifications, vehicle adaptations and other resources that promote independence and full community participation.
The annual event serves as a platform for education, outreach and connection. Community members, organizations and families gain valuable information and resources that support accessibility, inclusion and independent living throughout West Virginia.
The show will also include vendors showcasing the latest advancements in adaptive driving technology and resources for vehicle modifications, as well as organizations committed to promoting accessibility in the automotive industry.
The Freedom Car show is a free event open to the public and will run from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Oct. 3.
