Expanding on a relationship that was rekindled in 2018, Forgeline Motorsports will be a sponsor of IMSA.tv live streaming for all 2019 IMSA MICHELIN Pilot Challenge events.
The series includes a robust field of Grand Sport (GS) and Touring Car (TCR) race cars built to international racing specifications. GS features a full field of GT4 race cars from Aston Martin, Audi, BMW, Chevrolet, Ford, Mercedes-AMG, McLaren and Porsche; the TCR class includes eligible race cars from Alfa Romeo, Audi, Honda, Hyundai and Volkswagen.
In addition to its support of MICHELIN Pilot Challenge live streaming on IMSA.tv, Forgeline also will have a strong presence during IMSA Radio broadcasts of the MICHELIN Pilot Challenge, including interviews, short features and racing discussion, all designed to create additional buzz and excitement for fans listening via SiriusXM, IMSA.tv, RadioLeMans.com, the IMSA APP, and affiliates internationally, as well as across the Track PA at each event.
“Forgeline is proud to be expanding its strategic alliance with IMSA,” said Steve Schardt of Forgeline Motorsports, an amateur racer himself. “Watching the series grow has been incredible, and we wanted to invest more into this particular series.
“In addition, as part of the IMSA Radio broadcasts, we will conduct a fan-based voting feature called The Spirit of the Race Award. This will allow IMSA Radio listeners to vote in real time who they feel has demonstrated what this series is really about via their Twitter or Facebook accounts.”
