Malco Products Inc., a U.S. manufacturer of professional-grade chemical products, has been named a 2025 Exporter of the Year by the Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM). The award was presented during EXIM’s Annual Conference, held April 29–30 at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C., bringing together industry leaders, policymakers and exporters to discuss strategies for enhancing U.S. competitiveness in the global market.
This award honors Malco’s achievements in expanding U.S. exports and supporting American jobs through international trade. Malco currently exports to more than 70 countries and has significantly expanded its global footprint since partnering with EXIM in 2012, according to officials in a press release. By leveraging EXIM’s export credit insurance and working capital loan guarantees, the company says that it has successfully de-risked international transactions, strengthened distributor relationships and accelerated market expansion.
“We are honored to be recognized by EXIM for our export success,” said Seth Glauberman, president of Malco Products. “This award reflects our team’s dedication to delivering high-quality products around the world and our commitment to driving economic growth through international trade.”
Louis N. Vernon, director of international sales at Malco, accepted the award on Malco’s behalf and also participated as a guest speaker during a breakout panel discussion at the EXIM conference. “It was a privilege to share our international growth journey and how EXIM has empowered us to compete more confidently on the world stage,” said Vernon. “Thanks to EXIM’s resources and risk mitigation tools, we’ve built trust with global partners and expanded into new markets with confidence.”
Malco Is Still a Privately Held, Family-Owned Company
“Every product we export reflects the integrity of our brand and the legacy of a company still run by the family who started it,” added Glauberman. “As we grow globally, we do so with pride in showcasing American-made quality and the strength of a family business built to last.”
