eTool Developers Celebrates 20th Anniversary

Luanne Brown

Grand Rapids, Michigan-based eTool Developers recently celebrated its 20th anniversary as a provider of Internet-based software solutions for the automotive aftermarket, the company announced.

Luanne Brown—a former member of the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Board of Directors—founded eTool Developers in 2001 after attending her first SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, the company said.

The firm is known for providing standardized data management utilizing proprietary e-tools developed by the company, which allow aftermarket clients to become compliant with industry data standards, the company said. Services include website development, mobile applications, shopping carts and dealer portals, as well as data on-boarding tools to facilitate product-information management.

Over the course of two decades, the firm has amassed a client roster including Action Trucks, AMP Research, Automotive Aftermarket Charitable Foundation (AACF), Bushwacker, Husky Liners, Superlift Suspensions, Truck Hero and Westin Automotive, the company said.

“Special thanks to our clients, our team and all who have helped me over the years,” said Brown, president of eTool Developers. “I am extremely grateful to have discovered the automotive aftermarket and all the wonderful people who work in this industry. It has been an incredible 20 years, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.”
