More than 200 Utah-made products were nominated for the Coolest Thing in Utah award. The new honor was created by the Utah Manufacturing Association (UMA) to bring awareness Utah manufacturing. The Equal-i-zer Hitch by Progress Manufacturing was among the many nominations for the award, and finished in the top 25.

“We are thrilled to be named one of the Top 25 Coolest Things Made in Utah, and congratulate Bean Trailer for winning first place,” said Jed Anderson Equal-i-zer Hitch CEO. “We are proud to be part of the manufacturing industry and are excited to take part in the growth in manufacturing across America.”

A few other well-known products in the contest included Skullcandy headphones, Little Giant Ladders and Fat Boy ice cream.

The first round of voting attracted 12,945 votes for 222 Utah-made products.
